Book signing at Easons
Barrons Bakery supplied the bread for lunch and dinner for the Good Food Ireland conference, in Dublin on 22nd November last. Good Food Ireland deals with food producers, restaurants right through to Farmers Markets. It is about discovering the best that requires standards.
This Saturday 3rd December Esther Barron will do a book signing of “Our Daily Bread” at Easons, Dungarvan along with Kieran O Connor of Glanbia and WLR. This is a great chance to get a signed copy of this beautiful book for your Christmas gift list!

Culture guide and phone apps
If you want to see what and where culture is on, http://www.culturefox.ie is an easy to use website which also lets you publish your cultural events. Phone apps are also available for Android, iPhone and BlackBerry.
I am not sure whether this website is the right place for this but it might be of community interest… I know that Dungarvan people go mad for culture
A 5-year Moratorium on Growing GM Crops and Food in Ireland
This petition will be presented to the Irish Government to demonstrate that the undersigned citizens want a 5-year moratorium on growing GM crops and food in Ireland because not enough is not yet known about GM crop effects. During the moratorium a thorough review of the current evidence should be undertaken by an independent review body with citizens being kept informed of its findings.
